LaM launches raw, its new program dedicated to young creation. Through the presentation of exhibitions by emerging artists, the museum becomes a field of experimentation:an open, critical and lively place, where plural narratives dialogue.
The first artist presented as part of this program, Jessy Razafimandimby, born in Madagascar in 1995, explores painting, sculpture and drawing, which he integrates into immersive installations made by assembling found objects.
Inechoing the collection of the LaM - including some major figures of raw art - he develops a new set of works mixing human and animal figures. Unpublished, his installation incorporates furniture, textile fragments and trinkets, partly hewn at the Grande Braderie in Lille in 2025.
