Set in unspoilt natural surroundings, the LaM is located in one of the most beautiful landscapes in the Lille metropolitan area. At the heart of the chain of lakes. Easily accessible, the museum is 30 minutes by bicycle and only 15 minutes by car from Lille.
Walks and discoveries along the water: between lakes and museums
From the shores of Lac du Château to Lac du Héron, the hiking trails pass through lakes and forests. Located along this route, LaM offers walkers a cultural break with several walks recommended by the Fédération Française de Randonnée du Nord.
Relaxation in the open air surrounded by works of art
The LaM sculpture garden is home to ten monumental works, including sculptures by Calder, Picasso and Dodeigne, as well as a new contemporary acquisition by Dan Graham.
Regional cuisine with Florent Ladeyn
The LaM also offers two dining areas designed by Michelin-starred chef Florent Ladeyn. The Pigments restaurant offers breathtaking views of the sculpture garden and serves locally sourced cuisine. On the ground floor, Pigments Café cultivates the warm spirit of northern French cafés.
