The result of close collaboration between the student community, teaching staff and the cultural department of the University of Lille, États-limites explores the themes of borders and transitions. Drawing on the collections of LaM and the University, the exhibition explores the transformations of matter and the resistance that emerges in the face of imposed forces. The exhibition is accompanied by a multi-disciplinary cultural programme, mediation tools and a publication.

To be continued... A look back at the partnership between the EPSM and the LaM
EPSM Lille Métropole Armentières 
17 September - 19 December 2025

LaM and the EPSMs of Greater Lille are celebrating 20 years of collaboration with the presentation of a documentary exhibition tracing the genesis of this historic partnership. In 2026, the exhibition will travel to the EPSM des Flandres (Bailleul) and the EPSM de l'agglomération lilloise (Saint-André-Lez-Lille).

Books and music. A mutual agreement
Coeur de Bellain Library, Douai

LaM's Dominique Bozo Library is staging an exhibition co-created with the Bibliothèque Municipale Classée de Douai, which is hosting it in its new city-centre library, Cœur de Bellain. The exhibition invites visitors to explore music through an original medium: books. It will showcase books that reflect the author's love of music, poetry and experiments in sound and music. It will also create a unique dialogue between the two heritage collections.
