EPSM Lille-Métropole-Armentières

to 19 December 2025

In 2025, to celebrate 20 years of collaboration between LaM and the Établissements Publics de Santé Mentale, the museum has delved into the archives of projects carried out with all the EPSMs in the Lille area.

For many years, LaM has made it a point of honour to include all kinds of people, both inside and outside its walls, especially those with disabilities. This collaboration has given rise to some innovative experiments, such as the creation of exhibitions by patients from the EPSMs, which help to promote access to culture, combat isolation and withdrawal, and restore self-esteem.

This documentary exhibition will look back at the genesis of this historic partnership through five themes: artistic residencies, artistic practice workshops and their outcomes, symposia, study days and exhibitions, and finally professional support and future prospects for this partnership.

"To be continued..." will initially be on show at the EPSM Lille- Métropole-Armentières, before travelling to the EPSMs in Bailleul and Saint- André-lez-Lille. The exhibition will be accompanied by conferences, professional training courses, guided tours and artistic workshops.

Professionals, users and visitors will also be able to meet up for a coffee in a convivial and creative atmosphere.
